Exchange of Good Policy Practices Promoting the Industrial Uptake and Deployment of Key Enabling Technologies
註釋A significant part of future goods and services are as yet unknown, but the main driving force behind their development will be Key Enabling Technologies (KETs), such as nanotechnology, micro- and nanoelectronics including semiconductors, advanced materials, biotechnology and photonics. Mastering these technologies means being at the forefront of managing the shift to a low carbon, knowledge-based economy. Exchanges of good practice can serve as a useful guidance for policy makers when designing and implementing microeconomic policies or structural reforms. In line with the objectives of the industrial policy flagship of the Europe 2020 strategy, the European Commission organises exchanges of good practices focused on industrial competitiveness and growth-enhancing policies. The principal aim is to facilitate policy coordination and learning among Member States through the identification and review of good practices.
