The title of this research is UK: “With” Europe but Certainly Not of Europe, Reassessment of UK ’s membership in the EU. The objective of this research is to reassess UK ‘s membership in the EU by first identifying the pattern that may explain the current status of UK ‘s membership based on its historical background as a member of EU. Second, is by analyzing the basis and reasons of UK ‘s resistance to the European Monetary Union and its non participation in the Schengen Agreement. The research is descriptive and made used of interviews as the data collection method. The study also relies heavily on secondary data sources such as books, journals, and the Internet. The finding and analysis are drawn from such secondary sources and data collected from interviews.
