Greenpeace
註釋Greenpeace began in the late 1960s as a small group of individuals protesting about the testing of nuclear bombs in the North Pacific. Since then, it has grown into a large, multinational organization with branches in 41 countries around the world. This book charts that growth and gives outlines some of the organization's successes, and setbacks, along the way. It explains how Greenpeace works, and highlights many of the causes on which it has taken direct action. The book also encourages readers to form their own opinions on issues that Greenpeace highlights and the tactics that it uses in its campaigns. Book jacket.
