Autobiography 'The carpenters son' by Ernest Davies. Ernest was a carpenter and was involved with the Y.M.C.A. He came to W.A. in 1897 as a secretary for YMCA and later worked as a church minister, becoming secretary of the W.A. Union and Home Mission.
