註釋Born out of post-modern formal and social concerns, the firm of Schwartz/Silver Architects has developed into an argumentative collection of bricoleurs, scavenging through the fertile fields of architecture. Out of what they collect, they make moments of civic order within the confusion of the modern American city. Their works vary from arguments for civic dignity to celebrations of a community's cultural assets, and from the careful renovation of existing conditions.

The studio is sited in Boston.
