Motivation for English Language Learning in Slovenian Prisons
註釋Learning languages in prison is of utmost importance for the imprisoned person's future. The aim of the thesis was to determine and compare the level of male and female offenders' motivation for English language learning and interest for other foreign languages. Furthermore, the objective was also to find out whether the situation on implementing language courses within Slovenian prisons corresponds to the prisoner's needs for this kind of education. Information received from the prisoners and two teachers of English revealed the prisoners' high level of motivation for English language learning, as well as for learning other foreign languages, but that the prisons do not offer enough language learning programmes to satisfy the prisoners' needs for learning languages.
