This is my first collection of poems covering a wide range of subject matter. It is divided into nine sections: Cognectivities, Conversations, Crosshatchings, Suburbia, Epiphanies, Memography, Memos to Self, Poetic Memes, and Poetic Distillations. As you can see from these subtitles, I am interested in neologisms and also in exploring new approaches to form and subject matter in my poetry. Some of my poems have been inspired by my time spent living in Italy and Thailand. Others reveal my interest in Theology, Philosophy, History, Art, Music and Literature. It also reflects my time living in both the city and the country. They are also bear the stamp of my love of nature and my interest in politics and social commentary. Although this book is written for adults, it would be eminently suitable as a secondary school poetry text and will be launched with a shorter companion book for teachers and poets who would like to spend time analysing themes and messages and the poetic devices used to convey them.
