註釋This paper uses the Transition Home Survey (THS), recently developed at Statistics Canada, as a case study to illustrate the importance of a consultative process when planning a survey of social non-profit organizations. This is done by highlighting compromises to the initial design of the THS which resulted from consultations with Federal and Provincial/Territorial government agencies, Transition Home Associations, and representatives of individual shelters.
