Blackened Tulip
註釋A charismatic, good looking but seriously flawed English businessman arrives in a small Southern U.S. town to take over a local bankrupt manufacturing company. He meets with those in power and is arrogant enough to believe he can take them all on and beat them on their own turf. His one flaw is sexual addiction, and this town is filled with frustrated and desperate women, all of whom are charmed by his presence and his British accent. He moves from woman to woman and bed to bed with ease, all the while suffering guilt for betraying his wife, but he is unable to do anything about it. The Englishman discovers the lengths to which the town will go to beat him, as his life is put in jeopardy in a most unlikely way. He tries to get back at those who would bring him down, but ultimately it is his own trusted business partner who betrays him and leaves him the loser. Or has he really lost? Time will tell if he was the lucky one. Leaving town a wiser and chastened man, he still bears the dangerous flaw he desperately wants to fix. About the Author Now retired, David M.
