註釋John Freeth was born in 1731 in Birmingham, England. His parents were Charles Freeth and Mary. His parents owned a tavern, which he inherited. He performed his political songs at this tavern. He married Sarah (1736-1807) and they had nine children. He died in 1808. Includes the lyrics of many of his songs.
