註釋This evaluation study provides an in-depth look at the efforts to promote intra-governmental policy coherence for development that were made by the European Member States and Institutions since the late 1990s. A variety of institutional mechanisms have been put in place in the EU, for which this study proposes a typology of three categories: explicit policy statements, institutional coordination mechanisms, and knowledge input and assessment mechanisms. Case studies on mechanisms in Finland, France, Germany, Spain, Sweden, the European Commission and the European Parliament provide more detailed descriptions of current practice.
