He seems attentive, but she isn't sure she's ready for a new relationship. She is still, irrationally, hoping that Jack is still alive. When she has a strange encounter with an old priestess on a lonely Greek island, that increases her worried for her own sanity, she finds Nick's concern comforting. Then she gets a note from Jack! He's still alive - and waiting for her. Or is it simply a cruel joke at her expense? Nicholas agrees that someone is playing a trick, but who? As they continue on to Israel, she and Nicholas join forces to discover who is plotting against her.
