The Tertiary Pleistocene Stratigraphy of the Liard Plain, Southeastern Yukon Territory
註釋Liard River and its tributaries across the Liard Plain in southeastern YukonTerritory expose a unique succession of sediments and lava flows ranging inage from Tertiary to Pleistocene. A number of sections were studied duringreconnaissance mapping of the surficial deposits of the region during thesummers of 1977-81. This report provides a detailed account of thestratigraphy and focuses on the Late Tertiary-Pleistocene history based inpart on age dates from lavas and organic material and on paleontological andpaleomagnetic evidence from the late Pleistocene sediments.
