Field Techniques in an Urban Language Study
註釋This volume is essentially a report of the methodology employed in the survey of Detroit speech carried out in 1966-67 by the staff of the Detroit Dialect Study. Research was done through Michigan State Univ. under contract with the Cooperative Research Branch, U.S. Office of Education. As a methodological study, this work is generally descriptive rather that theoretical in order to provide a practical base for large-scale urban language study.
