註釋The Parision illuminator Jean Pichore is mentioned in several sources between 1502 and 1520 that link him to illuminated maniscripts and book printing at Paris. Although these documents were published in the 19th century, only the last ten years of research have revealed the central role this artist played in the style of French illumination known as the 'School of Rouen' at the eve of the Renaissance.
