This is a new Rebel Lives title about Julio Antonio Mella, who was only twenty-five when he was assassinated in Mexico in 1929, but who was already recognized internationally as a young Communist leader. Often regarded as a victim of the Stalin-Trotsky struggle, he was also famous for his relationship with photographer Tina Modotti.
