註釋George Steptoe Johnson was born 15 June 1803 in Fauquier County, Virginia. His parents were George Johnson and Elizabeth Blakemore. He moved to St. Charles County, Missouri in 1834. He married Eizabeth Ann Gwatkin Hunter 1 March 1848. They had three children. George died in 1879 in St. Charles. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, Missouri and California.
