Kredel, first fulltime professor of surgery at the Medical College of the State of South Carolina, 1937-1961. Includes his biography, bibliography, citations, certificates, reprints of his articles, other writings, photos, correspondence, and a scrapbook of his trip to Kartabo, British Guiana, South America, where he studied and later wrote about the habits of the three-toed sloth. Also, 2 medals, 1 from the Selective Service and one from the American Cancer Society.
