註釋This series comprises general program files related to Lutheran Church in America's (LCA) Division for World Mission and Ecumenism's (DWME) involvement in mission work in the Caribbean region. They are from 1973-1980 and include handwritten and typewritten correspondence, meeting minutes, agenda and exhibits, topical papers and reports, and a small amount of material pertaining to projects provided financial assistance from DWME. Subject matter of these records includes, among other areas, the Caribbean Conference of Churches and materials from the LCA Staff Team on the Caribbean. The material from this staff team provides information pertaining to issues surrounding how to best coordinate mission activities in the Caribbean region between the DWME and the DMNA and Caribbean Synod which also conducted similar work to that of the DWME. Also included in this series are two folders of material related to the DWME's involvement in Surinam.
