註釋Like everyone else, Ben Freeman is defined by the connections in his life. Usually, little attention is given to those seemingly insignificant moments that, over time, shape us and move us in directions we could not have foreseen. Ben begins to understand those connections, to understand that there may really be order in life's inherent chaos. That understanding, gleaned by a willingness to let go of so much he once thought important, leads him to the place--and the person--he was destined to find. Getting there, however, will not be easy. Ben must first accept the wisdom and philosophy of the enigmatic Uncle Jack, who posits that one needs only awe and imagination to experience the endless cycle of life.
