註釋Over the last few years, the architecture of the human body has occupied a central position in Karl Lagerfeld's photographic work--just recently, his series Bodyparts was staged as an exhibition. With Waterdance and Bodywave, Lagerfeld now picks out courses of motion in the elements of water and air as a skillfully-used central theme. Here the photographic eye compares the different distortions of the body that result from submersion in either element. Lagerfeld's new work is presented in two large-format albums, whose dramaturgy leads the viewer to a new way of seeing nude photography in a playful way.
