Over the year a number of Malaysian plants have been examined for new chemical principles and selected bioactivities. Malaysian plants renowned for their curative properties are reviewed in relation to recent chemical findings. The variety of new and novel natural products can now be determined using better instrumental methods. Selected plants have been collected for an examination of their insect lures.
