Literature and Critical Thinking
註釋It is possible for all children at varying developmental levels to engage in a discover process which clarifies thinking, increases knowledge, and deepens their understanding of human issues and social values. This activities book provides teachers a resource to maximise this process, using distinguished children's literature as a vehicle. The stories in this book follow the same format, to address each of the six levels of thinking skills: knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis, and evaluation. Each story also includes a class project and a small group project. This resource is designed to accompany specific books. To obtain maximum benefit from the activities, you may wan studens to read the books themselves or you may choose to read them aloud to your class.
