Caroline Rumelhagen was born in Illinois in 1873. She married William Carl Waterstradt and they were the parents of eight children. They spent their lives in Illinois. Information on their ancestry, siblings, and descendants is given in this volume. Descendants now live in Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, and elsewhere.
