註釋This report summarizes gasification tests done in a 2-6 kg MAF coal/h bench scale gasifier with coals from Highvale, Paintearth, Costello, Prince and Pittsburgh seams. Tests were carried out with and without a sulphur sorbent material, either limestone or calcined limestone (lime), to determine the effectiveness of sulphur retention.
