Report of Investigation Into the Response by the New York State Police and Others to a Domestic Incident Involving David W. Johnson, an Aide to the Governor
註釋The final report in the investigation of NY Gov. David Paterson¿s intervention in a domestic violence case involving a former top aide. On Feb. 25, 2010, the Att. Gen. of NY (OAG) commenced an investigation into possible inappropriate involvement by the NY State Police and others in a domestic incident between David Johnson -- a close aide to Gov. Paterson -- and Johnson¿s girlfriend, and events arising therefrom. The investigation followed a NY Times article about the incident that reported that the State Police detail assigned to the Gov., and the Gov. himself, had contacted the victim of the incident, possibly to pressure her not to pursue a case against Johnson. The special counsel does not recommend any charges against the Gov.
