A personal information series contains correspondence, newspaper clippings, a periodical article, and poetry, most of which is included in her annual Christmas letter. A series on church, civic groups, and clubs documents Wood's life in church and community organizations, notably the Aurora Reading Club of Pittsburgh and the Mount Ararat Baptist Church, also in Pittsburgh.
