Miss Jeanie's Little Girl
註釋Autobiography of Jean McIntyre Warwick Nadeau. Jean was born in North Carolina in 1919 to her mother, Jeanie, and father, Joe Warwick. Her father passed away from influenza in 1918 before Jean was born. Jean McIntyre Warwick grew up in North Carolina. She attended Appalachian State Teacher's College (1937-1941) where she met André J. Nadeau, her future husband, and Dr. Eugene Garbee, professor of physical education. Jean and André married after she graduated from college. They had two children, Andréa Jeanne, and Marianne. After Dr. Garbee became President of Upper Iowa University, he offered André a job as Director of Physical and Health Education, and head baseball and wrestling coach. Jean took art classes at Upper Iowa University. She earned a degree in Art, and began teaching art in the area schools. Their daughter, Andréa, graduated from Upper Iowa University in 1968. Roger Mangan lived with the Nadea's for one semester while he was studying and wrestling at Upper Iowa University.
