註釋Descendants of Peter Wolf (1740-1805), who was born in Bethel Twp., Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania. He married Elizabeth Sherck, the widow of Peter Sherrick (Sherck) sometime between 1763 or 1764. After the summer of 1800 the Wolfe family migrated to western Pennsylvania and Ohio. Descendants live in Ohio, Maryland, Indiana, Virginia, Oklahoma, California and elsewhere.
