註釋Thomas Cornell was born ca 1595 in Essex, England. He died ca 1655-66 in Portsmouth, R.I. He was married to Rebecca Briggs who was born in 1600 in England. She died 8 February 1673 at Portsmouth. The family arrived in Boston in 1636. The couple had eleven children. The immigrant ancestor of the Davis family was William Davis. He was born in Wales in 1663 and came to America in 1684.
