Read the story of former Irish Mobster and Satanist Matthew Phillip Coury and how he came to know Jesus Christ. Matthew Phillip Coury was raised in a home school cult by his parents. He learned about God and Jesus from a young age, but because of the strict rules and regulations placed on him, he turned against God as he got older. He turned against God so much he was inspired by the Left Behind books to want to become the antichrist. He grew up lonely and with hardly any friends after his father made a critical statement to him about his personality. He actually developed social anxiety disorder. Matthew got into partying and drinking once he was old enough to drive. It was round this time he began to dabble in Satanism and the occult. Matthew was bullied a lot from the time he was a teenager and could not seem to get a girlfriend. This caused him to turn to Satan for power and begin praying to Satan. For short periods of time since he became a young adult, Matthew would turn his life back to Christ but it was only temporary. Matthew would ultimately in his early twenties begin getting into the criminal life and became a mobster and gangster. He would attempt to become a hit man, recruit prostitutes, and eventually got into drugs. Drugs were an escape for Matthew, but starting with marijuana turned to using LSD. After using LSD, Matthew became bipolar. He was arrested several times and put on medication. Finally, after this occurred Matthew committed himself to the Lord Jesus Christ and he has not looked back since.
