Each project foregrounds the relationship between plants and humanity, exploring local and territorial, but also international relationships. This geographic scale underlies narratives and political, social, and environmental issues, as well as post-colonial questions. From the Amazon to Costa Rica to Taiwan, these projects involve psychoactive plants, shamanism, drugs, but also the sensorial exploration of a territory. The relationship to plants is central: they are sacred and lie at the heart of local cultures and beliefs.
