Two proud poodles lived in a big house, slept on silk cushions and ate the finest foods. At their very fancy birthday party, a sad and dirty little dog followed the butler in, as he presented the birthday cake. The owner of the poodles wanted the newcomer thrown out, but a little girl who had no dog of her own asked for it and, because she came from the kitchen, named the dog, Cinderella. The next day she took the dog in for a good bath and the vet said her stray dog was a Bedlington Terrier, and suggested she enter Cinderella in the dog show.
