Truman's Journey
註釋"Truman's Journey" is the fictional account of Daniel Truman, the son of a merchant marine captain growing up in the early 1800's on the outskirts of a small New England shipping town. Young Daniel Truman wants nothing more in life than to follow in his father's footsteps to become a sailor and one day command his own merchant ship. Daniel helps his father on the docks and on their small farm as a boy and spends his free time with his friends in the surrounding countryside while waiting to sail on his first long voyage. One day, against his father's wishes, young Daniel, along with his best friend Robert Seward, rows out in a small boat to a rocky cove outside of the safe harbor of his town. What Daniel finds there will change his life forever. "Truman's Journey" is a story about friendship, love and loss, but most of all; it is a story about overcoming tremendous obstacles in order to fulfill a life-long dream in an age of change and a time of uncertainty. Peter Nicholson wrote "Truman's Journey" in 2012.
