Daniel S. Mills Diaries
註釋Consists of two diaries for the years 1854-1855 and 1857-1858, in which Mills describes his daily life working as a carpenter, miner, and lumberer in the San Francisco Bay and Sacramento areas, and in the foothills of the gold country along the forks of the American River. Particular note is made of expenses. Includes a discussion of hydraulic mining.
