註釋The mortgage agreement between John Powell Abbey and his brother James Easton Abbey, both shipbuilders and their wives, Elizabeth Abbey and Marion Abbey, all living in the village of Port Robinson and Mathew Thomas of the Township of Stamford. The mortgage is for the south half of lot number 184 in the Township of Thorold. In 1856 Mathew Thomas sold this parcel of land to Thomas Clark Street. In 1859 the mortgage is transferred from Thomas Clark Street of Stamford to Jonathan Bradfield of the Township of Thorold. All documents contain signatures of the parties mentioned above.
