Nutrition and Vitamin Therapy
註釋Abstract: The effects of nutritional status on mental health and the possibilities of vitamin therapy in treating many forms of mental problems (depression, for example) are presented. The evolution of knowledge about vitamin therapy is traced, interspersed with case histories to support the idea that mental health is partially dependent on nutritional and chemical balance in the body. The specific physical and mental effects of deficiencies or excesses are described for vitamin C, the B-complex, the fat-soluble vitamins and minerals. Other areas of concern discussed include toxic metals, allergies and blood sugar levels.
