Brent was raised in a country atmosphere for the most part, ranging from Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Missouri, Delaware, Texas and Florida. While in grade school he wrote plays as a way of getting out of class and in high school wrote stories as a way of expressing his political view. Brent served in the Air Force from 1979 to 1983 after which he returned to his home in Morrisonville, Illinois. For twenty-five years Brent battled depression until he found a way out with this book and a BBQ stand. He is also planning to start a soup kitchen and safe house. He is very proud of his family: Judith, his wife; Seneca, his daughter; Jason, his son; Daniel, his son-in-law; Cheri, his daughter-in-law; and a new grandchild coming in February. God bless.
