World Economics
註釋This work provides an overview of the structure and functioning of the world capitalist economic system. The author finds the current structure to be threatening to world peace and sustainable development. Central to the argument is an analysis of the interactions between globalization, regionalization, and national development. He identifies a number of problems with the current arrangement, chiefly distorted, undemocratic, and inequitable development patterns giving rise to military conflict. He tries to apply lessons of national development towards solutions to the world economy, calling for the democratization of the world order and the strengthening of democratic global institutions that can look after the global commons.
