A Comparison of Diversity Training in Five Eastern Washington University Graduate Programs
註釋"The increasing cultural diversity of the United States exemplifies the need to reexamine current approaches of training school psychologists at the graduate level. A program evaluation was conducted to assess the diversity training in Eastern Washington University's (EWU) School Psychology program in comparison to four other graduate programs. A Diversity Rating Form (DRF; Bluestone, Kuba, Stokes, 1996) was used to assess perceived coverage of diversity within courses and programs. Students from School Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology-Clinical Emphasis, Social Work and School Psychology graduate programs at EWU completed a DRF for each course taken in the 2002-2003 academic school year, as well as for their program overall. Results indicated significant differences in diversity scores between cohorts within programs, between programs, and between 1st and 2nd year students.
