Emmitt Smith
註釋When Emmitt Smith joined the NFL in 1990, his detractors said he couldn't be a superstar running back. He was too small and too slow, they said. He was also joining a team that had played two awful seasons in a row. What the critics did not factor was his determination. While he's neither big nor especially speedy, Emmitt Smith showed that he could move the ball. With Emmitt lining up in the backfield, the Dallas Cowboys turned things around and went on to win three Super Bowls in four years. Sports author Stew Thornley (Deion Sanders C. 1993) tells the story of Emmitt's Success.
