A story inspired by real events.

It began with a tragedy in a small Scottish town at the beginning of the 20th century and a young family shattered by personal grief. They were given renewed hope after the end of the Great War, only for their lives to be devastated once again by unimaginable loss. The story spans the two deadliest conflicts in human history and a pair of heroes emerge from the ashes of broken dreams. As World War II exploded across the globe, one of those heroes truly believed he was in Hell.
