註釋In this paper we consider the motion of an incompressible, viscous, electrically conducting fluid contained between the parallel, plane, pole-pieces y = 0, h, of a permanent magnet which provides a uniform external field in the y - direction. Starting at time t = 0, with the fluid at rest, the magnet is made to move uniformly in the negative x - direction.
