註釋Frank Fisher is one of Australia's leading exponents of a social constructivist approach to resolving environmental and health problems. RESPONSE ABILITY comprises a selection of his articles, monographs, papers, submissions and letters to editors written while he taught at the Graduate School of Environmental Science at Monash University in Melbourne over the past twenty-seven years. In 300 pages RESPONSE ABILITY covers: general definitions of responsibility and the social construction of reality, environmental science, social construction of energy, transport and other environmental issues, social construction of illness and disability, taking effective action for social change. The aim of RESPONSE ABILITY is to show that people have and can take responsibility in their relationship with environment because the world as we interact with it, is a human creation. It also seeks to demonstrate that looking after environment means looking after physical, mental and social well-being.
