註釋This study analyzes data from the Hispanic Health and Nutrition Examination Survey for Mexican Americans aged 50-74. Comparisons are presented for gender and age groups. The findings suggest that elderly Mexican Americans are relatively poor, low educated and speak mostly Spanish. Moreover, health status indicators reflect, in general, poorer health status among elderly Mexican Americans.
