註釋Sometimes I'm a trainer. It's my job to make them earn their feed by teaching cues and conditioned response. Not, a great trainer . . . the word 'gifted is not synonymous with me. But I can start a horse on the ground and under saddle half way decent. I am the trainer. I have the power. I am the name that horses tremble with respect upon hearing. Right. Every single horse I have 'trained' has taught me more than I ever taught them. Horses are almost fanatic to communicate with people. They live in a place that really doesn't allow secrets because they exist in a desperate world of survival. Because it really is all about them doing their best not to get into a fight, horses almost explode in an effort to teach wisdom. They offer the chance to see things from a different perspective. If you take the time, you can learn how to stop and think instead of reacting. You can become kinder, more patient. You can end up a better person. Honest. Sure, I'm the trainer. But I am the one better for it.
