註釋
The Hugh John Fleming Forestry Complex, located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, offers training to the forestry related industry. As part of its training, the Maritime Forest Ranger School constructed a functional high technology sawmill six years ago on the premises of the Forestry Complex. The mill has been catering to the local Atlantic area market, which is seasonal, and is available for training only during December to May. To fill the down time of the training mill, the management and the board of the Maritime Forest Ranger School are considering offering training to the international market. This study analyzes the training needs and the approach needed to export the training program to South East Asia and Central America. Other parts of the world have also indicated training needs. The analysis also identified key groups and organizations that should be solicited.
