Josefina Guilisasti
註釋A comprehensive edition featuring the artistic and research production of painter Josefina Guilisasti (b. Chile 1963) on the genre of Still Life. "The book I am presenting here brings together work I have done over a decade and more in my attempt to carry out a personal reading of the still life genre. Whereas this genre has been traditionally been based on fairly simple staging of items on a tablet, from my perspective I have incorporated a less obvious, two fold aspect, breaking down this traditional scene by focusing on the individual existence of certain components of this world that suggest processes, private and commercial components, histories, pilgrimages, territorial discoveries, stages of colonization, exploitation and development of capital. Thus I depict objects such as jars, dishes, cups, pans, plates, teapots, china birds, Persian carpets from different viewpoints"--P. 7.
