A Teacher's Guide for Uncommon Courage, Patriotism and Civil Liberties
註釋"Uncommon Courage" documents the activities of the Military Intelligence Service (MIS) during World War II and the occupation of Japan. Nearly six thousand MIS soldiers, primarily Japanese American, participated in the Pacific War and/or occupation of Japan. Their stories are emblematic of the physical and emotional challenges faced by Japanese American soldiers during and after the war. The film and this accompanying teacher's guide offer the opportunity to consider civil liberties in the context of the Japanese American experience during World War II and the contemporary impact of these experiences on Japanese Americans.
