Brown regarding a pair of hunting dogs named Bounce and Flora; letter, 3 May 1863, written by Walter Blake, Jr. to his mother, Anna Izard Blake, describing a recent attack made by Union soldiers that destroyed a pontoon bridge and houses located along the Combahee River in Beaufort and Colleton Counties, South Carolina; letter, 17 January 1870, written by Walter Blake, Jr. to Anna Blake concerning stock in the Camden and Amboy Railroad; and letter, 8 September 1871, written to Anna Blake commenting on her husband Walter Blake's death in Savannah, Georgia, and recalling a memory of their daughter, Louisa Blake.
